What is CIPP?
Drain Stream Inc now offers trenchless pipe replacement procedures in Toronto, Burlington, Mississauga, Etobicoke, and Oakville
CIPP, or cured-in-place pipeline technology, is the newest and most advanced method of pipe rehabilitation. Applicable with both water and sewer lines, this modern technology is capable of repairing existing damaged pipelines, wether burst or bent, all with minimal intrusion and virtually no excavation.
How does it work?
Trenchless pipe repair is in fact a fairly simple process. Our fully trained and liscenced plumbers find an access point to the pipeline that needs repair. Using state-of-the art equipment, a special resin-like formula is pulled into a damaged pipe, coating the inner layer. The coating is pressed along the inner tube and allowed to dry, leaving behind a fully cured and functional pipe. A professional TV camera inspection is done for quality control and the access point is sealed up.
More importantly, how does it save me money?
We glad you asked, responsible and cost-savvy reader! As this technology is trenchless, that means that no excavation will be required as you would for regular pipe repair methods, where you have to dig deep trenches and physically replace the existing pipelines. No excavation means less overall intrusion and damages done to the surrounding work site, all at the same at a fraction of the cost of traditional pipe repair methods. On top of this, trenchless pipe repair can also be done much faster than regular pipeline rehabilitation, meaning that it is both more cost and time efficient.
